This does raise one concern to me regarding the Albion Online community

Really interesting way of fighting the “dying plot” due to an owner which already left the game but has hoarded a lot of silver on his account.

Nice change and i would like to see how this “bid auction” plays out (especially for new players who doesn’t have tremendous amounts of Cheap Albion Online Silver to compete with residents)!

I fear also now for a smaller guild that builds up the economy buildings in a city there is no chance when a big guild wanna have it .
This update sounds not so good for me … we will see what happens in the closed beta

This does raise one concern to me regarding the less HC community. That is that you’ll have to compete for your own plot economically, which would naturally favor large guilds in the bidding wars against almost any solo player / casual guilds, irrelevant whether the original owner is active or not.

What I would like to suggest here is that the auction would only start when the original owner has gone inactive for a certain period of time, or alternatively has run out of money for the upkeep (Where the upkeep cost might increase gradually for every consecutive day of inactivity after a certain time.) This way soloers wouldn’t have to worry about having to be shoved aside as long as they actively use their plot.

Unless something is done to protect smaller guys in cities, the system is essentially forcing them to live in islands. I’d personally want to see smaller guys idling at the town central rather than everybody vanishing into thin air as they’re now hanging around the islands.

The only wrong about this game is private islands, with this system is even easier for new people to acquire a plot of land in any city.
So what is the point to keep private islands?
Why I would spend money in a city if I can have free buildings in my own, forever untouchable place?

We want to give some Albion Online background information.

Hi all,

one of the most discussed topics in the Albion Online community is if and when a wipe will take place. In this thread, we want to give some background information.

We have announced the following:
There will be a wipe at the end of closed beta. Closed beta will last at least until 1st August 2016
There will be one wipe during closed beta
There might even be more then one wipe during closed beta, but not if we can avoid it
We are still not able to announce when exactly the wipe during closed beta will take place. However, what we can share is the Albion Online Items that would need to be satisfied for a wipe to make sense.
The game needs to be sufficiently different than the game version we started the closed beta with almost 3 months ago
In particular, the issues of the game relating to progression, mob and resource distribution and availability of content need to be properly fixed. This goes beyond just changing fame values for the destiny board. While we have come along way here since the start of closed beta, not all changes we have planned to this area of the game are done yet. Check our state of the game post for further info.
On top of that, we have announced the creation of a brand new, immersive game world. This will include a much improved resource distribution, more variation, more unique player cities and different biomes and climate zones. This is more than just cosmetic, as it will also have our new red zones with a crime and reputation alongside a large new continent consisting entirely of black zones. These changes will make red zone the go to zones for smaller scale PvP fights while the new black zones will be perfect for guilds duking it out on a large scale.
In order for a wipe to be meaningful, the above changes would have to be made to the game, at least in early stages. Why?

We will miss Albion Online on all the future videos

I’ve been the community manager for Sandbox Interactive since we had but 7,000 Facebook likes, no forum, and balanced our servers on a table in the kitchen.

Since then the community has grown in both length and girth, requiring we even take on more moderators to shut the lot of you up every now and then. The best indication of the size of the community now is the fact that we’re now a huge target for spam – we’ve come so far.

Alas, now, I must leave my post, and indeed Berlin. Without wanting to go into too much detail, I have decided to Buy Albion Online Gold to New Zealand, where we will join in the crowd complaining about the lack of Oceanic servers for Albion Online, and possibly have hybrid tiger-babies when we both feel ready.

Thank you very much for being the loves that you are! You haven’t always agreed with my moderation, but I’ve only had one threat of physical violence in my time and I really appreciate that about this community – you let your resentment build up rather than letting it out.

‘Will I still be able to PK Beelzebabb in game?’ I hear you ask. Yes, is the answer to that. Very much yes. I will be playing when I can in the beta, and I am really, really shit at PvP when I don’t have Godmode on. So this is still a possibility if that was still on your list.

Be nice to my replacement(s), and make sure you have a great time in CBT, and help us make this game the best ever!

You know what if Beelzebabb goes I go! Whose walking out with me? Whose walking out with me? Oh wait this isn’t one of those times. Damn I always wanted to do that.

We will miss you on all the future videos. I will build a shrine of dead bodies in your name in the world that is Albion. Not weird at all.
